About Max Kitching
Maximilian Kitching is an American Guitarist who has been classically educated and trained within the United Kingdom.
After joining his high school’s jazz band, Max developed an ambition to excel as a serious full-time musician. Having chosen Jazz Guitar as his medium for musicianship, it would take a great deal of dedication to reach the heights of his potential.
Max’s path towards growth in Jazz Guitar included a year in one of North America’s finest youth jazz orchestras; North Carolina’s Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble.
The award winning Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble (TYJE) is based in Raleigh under the direction of Dr. Gregg Gelb. TYJE is for advanced musicians in grades 8 – 12 who want to develop the skills to perform a wide range of jazz compositions.
